Welcome to Lightning Motorcycle Training's Expert Course with Theory Test (A1 geared) on-line booking page.

The following process will allow you to make a live booking with Lightning Motorcycle Training, make a payment and receive an appointment letter.

There are only a few things you need to worry about:

This course is suitable for anyone who wants to gain a A1 Light Motorcycle Licence (geared) and who has lots of previous experience of riding a geared motorcycle and would feel comfortable riding a geared 125cc motorcycle straight away. The course includes the Theory Test and Motorcycle Tests, however it assumes that you have a valid CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate taken on a geared motorcycle.
To take a training course you must be at least 17 and have either a provisional UK/Northern Ireland driving licence, a full UK/Northern Ireland driving licence or a UK Counterpart licence with Motorcycle Entitlement. No other licence is acceptable.
You must be able to read a number plate over 20.5 metres (you can wear glasses or contact lenses to do this).
